Refund Policy
7 days, no hard questions.
Effective date: April 29, 2026
We sell one digital good directly on built4.fun: the Jinshu Lifetime activation code for E-Ink and Android. This page tells you how refunds work for that purchase. Purchases made through other channels (App Store, Google Play, Taobao) follow that channel's own refund flow.
1. The 7-day window
You may request a full refund within seven (7) calendar days from the date of purchase, for any reason. We will refund the full amount you paid in the original currency, back to the original payment method through Stripe.
2. How to request a refund
- Email happinesz@gmail.com from the address you used at checkout.
- Include your Stripe receipt number (it starts with
ch_orpi_) or the date and amount of the purchase. - If something specific went wrong (the code didn't arrive, the app crashes on your device, etc.), a one-line description helps us avoid the problem for the next person β but it's not required.
We respond within two (2) business days. Once approved, Stripe typically returns the funds to your card within 5β10 business days, depending on your bank.
3. What happens to your activation code
When a refund is issued, the activation code is revoked. Any Jinshu installations that had been unlocked using that code will revert to the free tier on next launch. Please uninstall or stop using the Premium-locked features once you've received your refund.
4. After the 7-day window
After 7 days, refunds are not guaranteed, but we read every email and want you to be happy. If something is genuinely broken β the app stops working on a device you previously activated, your code was lost in a way we can verify β write to us and we'll do what's reasonable, including a partial refund or a fresh code.
5. Things we won't refund
- Codes that have been resold or publicly shared
- Codes used on more devices than the 5-device limit through deliberate workarounds
- "Buyer's remorse" purchases on a chargeback path β please write to us first instead of filing a chargeback. We approve almost every reasonable refund request inside the window.
6. Other purchase channels
- App Store / Google Play: Apple and Google handle refunds for in-app purchases according to their policies. We have no ability to refund those on our end.
- Taobao: Use Taobao's own refund flow. Codes purchased there are still subject to abuse rules above.
7. Questions
Anything unclear, write to happinesz@gmail.com. We're a small team, so the reply comes from a real human, usually quickly.
